Quinn's first haircut

Quinn's hair was getting a little thin at the bottom so I thought a little trim would be good to freshen it up again and make it look thicker. So we went over to my friend Karri who gave her her first hair cut.
She did awesome. With a serious look on her face she sat still very good so the job was done quickly. And her curls are still there thank god!

Kane is 3 months old

Kane is 3 months old! Our little boy is doing great.
What's going on at 3 months:
* He loves to smile and giggle.
* He loves to get kisses from his big sister Quinn.
* He loves to be on his belly and view the world from a different angle. He holds his head up really well.
* He sleeps through the night! YEAH!!!!! Bedtime starts between 8.30 and 9.00pm and he sleeps until about 7am. This started when he was 10 weeks old and it makes me VERY VERY happy! Good job buddy.
* He takes 3 to 4 naps during the day, varying in length.
* He is still fully breastfed and eats 6 times a day.
* He doesn't want his pacifier anymore. Instead, he has found his thumb! Yes, we have two thumsuckers now......
* He holds on to toys when you give it in his hands.
* He also discovered his hands and likes to look at his fingers and move them.
* His big blue eyes follow every move we make. He especially keeps an eye on his big sister.
We LOVE you little man.

First snow of the season

Early November and the first snow is already here! What an unpleasant surprise. I don't think Quinn really remembers the snow from last year, so she didn't know what was happening. She was excited to go outside though and feel and touch the white cold powder.
Ryan was home early from work and it didn't take him long to get the sled down from the attic.
Quinn on her first sleigh ride of the season!
A little hesitant at first, but she enjoyed it a lot!

The snow was very sticky. Perfect for making a snowman.

Tadaa! Mr. Snowman.
It was so funny, the snowman was right in front of our living room windows and after Quinn came back inside, she got her dolls, brought them up to the window and showed them her snowman. It was the cutest thing to see her talking to her dolls. I don't know exactly what she said, but it must have been about how much fun she had outside.....
A few days later all the snow was almost gone. Quinn was disappointed that she couldn't go on her sled anymore, but she took it out anyway....
Feeling the snow.....
and tasting it......
And this is what's left of Mr. Snowman! Well, I'm sure he'll be back this winter!
