Pool party's @ home

Our hottub in the sunroom hasn't been working for a long long time, but Ryan finally got it fixed so we can use it again. Quinn was all ready for a pool party with daddy (being pregnant, I'm not going in the hottub....)

Slowly getting into the warm water....

wow, this water is warm. The look on her face says it all.....

Lets just sit on the side and get used to the water temperature first..... 

After that, she was ready to go swimming!!!!

And then we had a pool party outside as well! Yes, the weather finally got nicer, so we filled up the turtle for Quinn to play in.

This time the water was cold, but it didn't take long before she was dumping buckets of water over her own belly....

On top of the pool fun at home, we also started with parent/toddler swimclasses this summer. Quinn and I go in the pool together and we sing songs, play with water toys and do all kind of fun activities with the other kids and mommies.
Quinn loves it in the water. Of course I'm right there with her, but it's a good way for her to get used to the water and prepare her for swimming in the lake up north!
