8 months pregnant

We are way over due with our belly picture...so finally, all dressed up for Christmas Eve, I managed to pose in front of the camera.
And no.....our christmas tree is not that small, it just seems that way with humongous me in front of it :-).
It will be interesting to see how much further everything can stretch out.

Preparing the baby room

Having always wanted a baby room in bright and bold colors, we went with red, orange and white. For either boy or girl. A challenge in the Green Bay Wisconsin area where pink, blue and pastels do seem to dominate the baby themes. Luckily there is online shopping and you can bring a lot of stuff from Holland in two suitcases. Good thing customs didn't open them up for thorough inspection this time :-)

Cousin Tess

Needless to say that Tess is very impressed about the fact that there is a baby in the belly of her aunt Col. She is very excited to meet him or her, even more because the baby is due on her 3rd Birthday. That will be a double party!

Baby Everson

About a year after the lives of two people from different continents were united, we were blessed and happy to find out that our lives would change once again: baby Everson is the new addition to our family and is expected to arrive in January 2010!
The most amazing part of the pregnancy is actually seeing your little one on a tv screen from your belly. With the little heart beating like crazy, we immediately fell in love with this little person. We can't wait to meet baby Everson # 1!
